Given the conversations happening all over our press about young people and the reality of what’s happening in their communities and schools, I’d love to ask you about your own curiosities. so, this month:
If you had a group of teenagers willing and open to explore whatever you asked, what would you want to know?
Remember, the only requirement of participation in our chat threads is that we read and engage with what others share; even if you don’t want to share your own story, you can like, affirm or acknowledge others comments by tapping the heart, leaving emojis or commenting how it made you feel.
Ask them how they are? How they feel? How they would like their world to look? How does everyone having an opinion about them and NOT asking them about how they feel, make them feel? Do they feel heard? Do they feel seen?
What are you most excited about? What are you looking forward to? (So much negativity, would focus on the positive.)
